DIY anti-limescale spray

Cleaning sustainably and vegan doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. Making your own cleaning product usually only takes a few minutes. Today we're showing you a simple recipe for a very effective descaling spray.

For the spray, you will need the following products:

• 200ml water
• 1 tsp citric acid
• 1 tsp dish soap
• 1 tbsp vinegar
• Approx. 4 drops of essential oil such as tea tree, peppermint or lavender
• 200ml spray bottle

Boil the water and let it cool until it is lukewarm. Add the citric acid to a suitable jug and stir until it has completely dissolved.

Add the remaining ingredients, stir, and pour into the spray bottle. Done :)

You can also put everything directly into the spray bottle and shake vigorously. However, it is advisable to use a funnel ;)

Instead of using essential oil, you can use lemon vinegar or vinegar infused with other plants.

You can use the spray in the bathroom or kitchen to clean limescale. Simply spray, let it sit briefly, and then clean with a cloth or brush.
