Watermelon «Sugar Baby» organic seeds - Zollinger Bio

The variety deserves its name. It produces football-sized, dark green fruits with carmine-red, juicy and very sweet flesh. The fruits even ripen outdoors in a mild climate.

Sow from early to mid-April in a warm place.
Two seeds each in a pot of 8. Just cover flat and keep evenly moist and warm.
In very mild climates, the young plants can be planted outdoors from May 20th.
Distance 100x100 cm.
Plants in forced beds, polytunnels or glasshouses guarantee a good harvest. Nutrient-rich soil and compost additions are beneficial.
