To obtain one kilogram of this essential oil, up to five tons of verbena leaves are needed. Verbena is co-distilled with litsea cubeba, meaning that during the distillation process, litsea cubeba oil is added to the steam used to distill the verbena leaves, resulting in a fragrant blend of verbena and litsea cubeba. This precious fragrance has a balancing and motivating effect on listlessness and fatigue, as well as a relaxing effect on stress and aggression. Verbena Grasse essential oil is suitable as an air freshener for room fragrance.
