The Backefix silicone baking mat is very different from other baking mats! Many baking mats on the market are not fully tempered, warp, have a chemical smell, slip, or even smoke during baking. Tempering is the most important, but also the most expensive step in the production of silicone utensils, and we can assure you that we don't cut corners on this crucial step! Unlike most other manufacturers, unfortunately.

The Backefix silicone baking mat consists of a fabric core encased in platinum silicone. Even heat distribution is guaranteed, and the baking mat is temperature-resistant from -35°C to 240°C and even microwave-safe. Furthermore, it is food-safe, free of BPA and PFAS, and odorless and tasteless.

Simply wash with warm water and a little dish soap. Of course, our silicone baking mat is also dishwasher safe.
