True Lavender «perennial» Organic Seeds - Zollinger Organic

The lavender 'Echter' is a beautiful plant. It captivates with its enchanting fragrance and lilac-colored flowers, which bloom from June to August.
A gentle lavender tea transports you to Provence and brings you peace.
A small bouquet of flowers placed in the closet will also repel moths.
It reaches a height of about 60 cm and is ideally suited for growing in pots.
He comes from the Mediterranean region.

Sowing: in March in seed trays. Light-dependent germinator. Germination is irregular.
After about ten weeks, plant outdoors in a sunny location (e.g. in flower beds near the house) at a distance of 40x40 cm.
Lavender needs calcareous soil; it does not thrive in acidic soil.
Prune it back in the first summer before it flowers, then it will bloom all the more beautifully in the following years.
