Unlike conventional plastic bottles that remain in the environment for years, the bamboo refill is biodegradable. This means that 9 months after being filled with shower gel, the refill begins to naturally decompose and compost.

That's why our refills have an expiry date of 9 months from the filling date – this date is clearly printed on the neck of the refill. We think this is a really cool feature and shows how natural the refills are.
