With its delicate colors as if painted on the finest silk, the silk poppy conquers our hearts. With the first rays of sunshine the flowers open and the bees are already bustling about in them. It blooms from June to August, reaches a height of 60-80 cm and should be cut into buds for bouquets.

(Papaver rhoeas) Sow in spring in a nice spot in the garden. Broad throw. No compost donations. Thrives in any garden soil in a sunny location. Extremely bee-friendly. Height 60–80cm, depending on location.
