In fact, these thin, approximately 5 cm long fruits with prickly skin taste crunchy and gamey.
Soak in salt overnight, rub dry in the morning, pour into sterilized jars and pour boiling vinegar over them. So easy!
This variety is one of the last non-F1 hybrids still available.

Sow in pots from mid-April or directly outdoors from mid-May.
Planting distances 50x50cm.
Cornichons love mature compost and a layer of mulch.

Cucumbers like to be in company with the shade-providing sweet corn. Harvest the ready-to-harvest cornichons every other day.
