Tomato «Babushka Selection Z» Organic Seeds - Zollinger Organic

The tomato 'Babuschka Selection Z' is one of our favorite varieties. It is distinguished by its enormous fruits, which can exceed 1 kg.
They are also impressive in terms of taste. Very versatile, they are suitable for salads, sauces and much more.

Harvesting takes place late, from the end of July to mid-October, which means that a greenhouse or other protective covering is recommended. The plants reach a height of 200 cm.

Sow seeds in seed trays in a warm location at the beginning of March. Prick out seedlings into individual pots when they are about 5 cm tall. Plant out from May 20th onwards, spacing them 80 x 80 cm apart.
Tie to stakes or strings and break off side shoots in the lower half, only do so later if necessary.
This variety only thrives in a greenhouse.
Tip for companion planting: Tomatoes love being near basil and parsley.
