“Red Kidney” is a distinctly dry bean. Not the green pods, but the dry seeds are harvested in August.
These are suitable for soups, Mexican meat dishes (chilli con carne) or as an addition to salads. First-class source of protein.
Huge yield, best taste. Should be grown in every garden.

Height about 60cm.

Sow from mid-May in rows 40–50 cm apart. Place 1 grain approx. 2 cm deep every 5–8 cm.
Later chop and lightly mound plants twice.
Harvest the dry pods from the end of August, dry them and core them.
