Vitavegan Citric Acid (conventional) is a versatile household and food additive. Whether for preserving fruit spreads, as a gelling agent, for acidity regulation, or in the home: This high-quality citric acid offers reliable functionality.

Suitable for food and household use. Content corresponds to approximately 160 ml (about 14 tablespoons) of fresh lemon juice.

Gelling aid when preserving
Especially with low-acid fruits, citric acid can promote gel formation and thus stabilize jams, jellies and marmalades.

Acid regulation
In recipes that require a certain amount of acidity, citric acid can be used to balance the flavor.

Preventing browning
Fresh fruit or vegetables discolor less quickly if you add a little citric acid.
