MELA calls its socks "Super Sustainable Socks" for a reason. These socks are free of polyamide and polyester, making them super sustainable. Even the connecting seams are made without synthetic fibers, as is usually the case.
Unlike conventional socks, ours are made from 97% Fairtrade organic cotton and 3% elastane, a type of elastane that's environmentally friendly.
These socks also offer you a super comfortable, seamless feel as they are hand-linked and feel soft on the skin.

Made from 100% Fairtrade organic cotton, these breathable socks are particularly comfortable to wear and are completely vegan.

100% cotton backing: Instead of synthetic materials, a sustainable cotton backing is used to reinforce the embroidery. It has a small overhang to avoid waste – without compromising the wearing comfort.

We recommend washing these socks at 30°C to prevent shrinkage and to maintain their beautiful appearance.
Cleaning and air-drying your laundry at lower temperatures saves energy and money, and helps minimize your carbon footprint.
